Originally developed for the military, NIGHTDRIVER technology measures heat signatures and creates an electronic image of everything in view. The system converts these temperature differences into an electronic signal, which it displays like a black-and-white TV image. This image is projected onto the windshield or display on a screen mounted just below your line of sight; or in some cases it can be ported to your navigation system's monitor. The image is available at a glance and won’t interfere with regular driving practices. In fact, after a short time, you’ll begin using it naturally just like your rearview mirror.
